Get ready for one of the most exciting experiences of the year for Grove Kids! Students in 1st–6th grade are invited to join us for an action-packed one-day retreat at Teen Quest Ranch in the beautiful Laurel Mountains. This incredible day will be filled with outdoor adventure, meaningful friendships, and powerful moments growing closer to Jesus.

At the Grove Kids Spring Retreat, students will enjoy a full day of high-energy activities led by trained staff and our trusted Kids Ministry leaders. This retreat is designed to help kids step away from everyday distractions and experience how exciting and life-changing a relationship with Jesus can be.

Throughout the day, kids will participate in fun team-based adventures, spend time with friends and leaders, and engage in two special worship and Bible teaching sessions created just for them.

Students will have opportunities to experience:

• Horseback Riding
• Off-Road Go-Karts
• Archery
• Rock Climbing Wall
• Laser Tag
• Skate Park
• 60ft Slide
• Mini-Golf
• Hang Time in the Snack Shack
• …and more outdoor adventure experiences!

(All activities are supervised by trained Teen Quest staff and Grove Kids leaders.)

This retreat is a perfect opportunity for kids to invite friends, neighbors, and classmates. Many students experience Grove Kids for the very first time through special events like this! Students who bring a friend will receive a “Snack Shack Voucher” for them and their friend! 

More than just a fun day, this retreat is designed to help kids:

• Begin a relationship with Jesus
• Grow in their faith
• Learn how to share Jesus’ love with others

Students will experience engaging worship and Bible teaching times specifically designed for elementary-aged kids.

Kids will be placed into small groups led by caring, background-checked Grove Kids volunteers who will stay with them throughout the entire day. This helps build friendships, ensures safety, and allows kids to ask questions and talk about what they are learning.

Lunch and dinner will be provided at the retreat center - Teen Quest Ranch: 293 Rich Road, Somerset PA 15501. We will travel together - Depart Walnut Grove Church: 9:00 AM, Return to Walnut Grove Church: 8:30 PM.  

Cost: $59 per student. Scholarships are available! We never want the cost to prevent a child from attending. Please contact Pastor Doug assistance is needed.
